Taipei

Was in Taipei last week, and as usual, only had time in the evening to go down to the Shi Lin night market for a spin. Not sure was it the food, but I got back to Singapore and my mouth and ass became big time Merlion for about 2 days.....

This first 2 picture is the special Pepper Bun. They stuffed meat and spring onions in the bun and they stick'em in this special oven, like the ones they use for tandoori. Out come this hot hot crispy crispy bah bao. Delicious though.

Then, this was followed by "Xie Rou Geng" - a.k.a. crab meat soup la. Delicious also. No pics though. Then, we go eat ice. This is some special shaven ice, I was told. Coffee flavour. Looks wierd right?
